Heavy Truck (Braking Analysis):
Air Brakes
The Heavy Trucks Menu includes several calculations that will help investigators with the various calculations required for Heavy Truck reconstructions.
Monte Carlo Analysis Icon:
The Monte Carlo Analysis (MCA) Icon has been placed on each calculation page for easy access. Access to the MCA page is also available by selecting the MCA Icon on the main program page.

Truck Braking Analysis requires many calculations to figure out a proper deceleration value based upon the available data. The Heavy Truck Brake Force Calculation tool will assist investigators while verifying the many long-hand calculations needed for this analysis.

Heavy Truck (Miscellaneous Analysis):
Low-Speed Turns (Off-Tracking
Articulated vehicles require additional distance to successfully complete a low-speed turn without striking objects. As the length of vehicles, or the combination of vehicles increases, so does the distance to negotiate low-speed turns.
The above graphic represents a sample report of the Off-Tracking tool. This calculation will allow for calculations with as many as three semi-trailers. During such events, the rear axle will track to the inside of a turn and assist investigations when addressing whether or not an object could have been struck based upon the available crash scene.
